1. Index Search

Are you looking for high quality movies, exclusive pdf or ebooks, software, music files, but find it difficult to search things in various websites. The restriction over torrents has made it extremely difficult to find the desired content on internet.

Nevertheless, here is a cool trick to find all the files so quickly. Instead of simply searching the keywords in Google, type indexof: file name (replace file name with you desired file name). For example below is a search results of famous movie “The Time Machine”. You need to look for returned search results with a directory. Simply clicking the directory link will take you to the file. Next click on the file will start download in a blink.

2. Browse Blocked Websites with Google Translator

Yes, you heard it right. if a website has been blocked by your ISP or company, you can still browse it through Google translator.

Simply select the language pair (i.e. english to hindi) and type the url of blocked website in typing box. You will get the same url in output box. Click the url in output box and another link will be displayed below. Click the url again and ye ye!!! your website will load (but in targeted language).

3. Identify Spammers without Revealing Your Actual Gmail id

Many websites sell your email ids to spammers without your consent even if they claim that they don’t. So how to know if any website has sold your info to spammers.

Most of the websites ask you to register with email id for further browsing. Whenever you type your gmail, do not type your real gmail id. Instead add so additional words with plus sign. Google accepts the plus sign in email and ignores what ever has been typed after + sign. For example if your email id is [email protected], then just type [email protected]. Upon registeration, keep an eye on your spam lists and notice if there is any email sent to [email protected] This way you can easily identify a website if it sells your email id to spammers.
